The books are now ready in the book shop if anyone wants to pick up a copy. We priced them in line with the subscription charge at only €25 each. They are really good value for money and will certainly help you advance your knowledge and skills.
I've read all the books I own on tailoring and these either come from The Tailor & Cutter Academy or The Cutters Practical Guide. Every one of these books is worth a read.
When I started offering womens suits I bought the ladies cutting book and fitting book together and I found it to be a great addition. I have another ladies book by F. R Morris which is a bible of a book both in size and content, we will add at some point but if its ladies wear you are into check these two books out.
Hi Michael,My suggestion would be the fitting books. When I bought these it was a game changer for me. Each of them cost me $500 - $700 each. But it was an investment that was well worth it.Remedies and defects has a lot of similar material to the practical cutters guide to remedies and defects. I have compared them side by side but I know there's a whole section in the cutters guide that isn't in the other. If your into make clothes for kids the Juvenile book is ideal for it. It covers both boys and girls. I used it once and it worked out very well for me.
