I'm just over 190cm tall, and have chest 120cm, waist 120cm. I usually get 4m of cloth for a standard 2-piece suit (no waistcoat), which gives me some wiggle room and enough spare cloth to possibly cut another piece if I need to replace one I'm not happy with (still learning so I find this happens every once in a while). I'd suggest you might be able to get a 3-piece for your client out of 4m, but you'd have to use a very economical lay, minimal inlays, and make no errors. Personally, to be on the safe side, I'd go to 4.5m if possible.
ok, his height is 79 inch, his chest is 41 inch and so is his waist. Is the 4 m (158 inch) length of cloth enough for trousers, a waistcoat and a coat?
Rory, are you going to help me out with this question, as I am about to order the fabric etc from your supplier and join your academy.....

It’s not just the height to consider but the girth too. What chest and waist is he? Also please provide measurements in the imperial inch.
