Here are some pictures of my first, recently completed, suit. I made it as a graduation project from textile school. It is mostly made after Rory’s method but not completely. The biggest issue was the pattern that I sourced from my school and then altered. This resulted in problems such as the darts and pockets being too far forward. Another issue was the cloth. Being a wool flannel I thought it’d be easy to work with but it was really difficult to both stretch and shrink fullness. I have taken the lessons from this coat and will apply them to the next!

Congratulations on your award of The Golden Thimble, well deserved.
That's a very good effort, better than my first you should be very proud.
