Hello all,
I recently wrapped up my studies in Los Angeles to focus on lessons here at HTA. The videos are an amazing tool for the way I learn, and I love the user friendlyness of VIMEO. I am also grateful to have the book that pairs with the lessons and will definitely use both. I look forward to progressing through the whole series and then in-person in at some point. I met a couple people at the trade school in LA who are also interested in studying with Rory, so we hope to put together a trip summer 2025. Here is the straight leg trouser topside. I created this over a month ago (traced it with a very thin sharpie), so I will make another one to refresh my mind and send to Rory. I'll send when I have more pieces. I cut it out as the lesson demonstrates, but then wondered if I should have left the original lines for posting. Thoughts?

Greetings!
I am working on the closed leg trouser draft topside. I drafted the straght Leg trouser draft topside a couple months ago and had forgotten that some of the instructions did not make sense. At the time, in order to continue to move forward, I zoomed in closely, read, and copied what Rory's ruler read, but I was never clear on what is being asked. So, here goes! What does "0-1 is on the 1/6 scale" mean? I looked in the book and didn't find the answer. Thank you!
Sabrina
Hey Sabrina,
The topsides look good from what I can see here. Perhaps an image of the draft would be better as the curled paper is distorting the waistline and hem.
Keep up the good work.
Best,
Rory
