I have done some single button jacket and also tuxedo jacket. I would like to check the proper position of the button.
Should it be at the waist line?
Or between the first button and secound button of two button jacket?
Have you guy got any idea?

Hi Ta, Great question. A one button coat is buttoned on the waist line. A two button coat has its first button 5/8” above the waistline A three button coat has equal button spacing above and below the waistline.
