Good afternoon Rory and forum members. I'm on my 3rd attempt with Rory's draft and need help with a fitting issue that did not show on my most recent tweed coat.
I'm quite happy with the fit so far ie. enough room in the back and good waist suppression but I must admit this cloth is much more difficult to work when compared to tweed.
I'm stuck with 2 horizontal bubbles at the top of the back panels, I tried opening/releasing the centre seam 5 inches from collar to halfback although it did not remedy the issue. Looking for some new ideas.
How to remedy the horizontal bubbles top of back panel
Do I need to pickup the back pitch of the sleeves?
Looking forward to your comments.
Seems to have done the trick. Now take a 1/2" off the shoulder points on the back
My first suggestion would be to pin out a 1/2" across the waist seam where you have those mark stitches and send me another photograph
