Good morning,
I am very pleased with my first fitting, shrinking with the iron made a big difference.
My initial thoughts are:
letting out the fork?
There is a slight buckling back of knees. Does the back of the trousers need to be raised?
The darts at the back are slightly pronounced, is that ok?
Any comments/suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Paul,
It looks like you might have more seat than you need. I would concentrate on solving this, and the Pronounced darts and buckling at the back of the knee will most likely clear up a bit after the seat alteration. It might be a matter of fork depth. I am no expert, but I am very slowly making trousers as well from Rory's draft. I have attached a few pages from "Classic Tailoring Techniques" by Roberto Cabrera and Patricia Flaherty Meyers.
Overall I think your trousers look pretty good. But of course we all want the perfect fit. Best of luck.
