This is what I would do [not necessarily the correct answer!] IF you are happy with the side seam position:
Add 1" to the inside seam of the front part, tapering out to the crotch point as it is now. Remove 1" from the back part inside seam, tapering as above.
This will move the inside seam 1" backward. If you want to move the side seam forward - same procedure in reverse, take off front part, add to rear part.
Dont try and remake these - keep them for reference so you can see the changes and wear them around the house :-D
BTW - if you turn up the hem so its hanging freely you will get a better indication of the true fit.
Thanks! I'm very glad you suggested this as I had started doing something similar, though only by 3/4" at the hem. I've just posted the result (but it needs to be approved by a moderator!)
Well add a large inlay on 1" on front and back - then quickly machine the 4 pieces together with a loose long stitch on your machine [with basting thread if you have it] press the center crease and then try them on before you do any more work to them.I made about 4 pairs of trousers when I started that had "spiral legs" the outside seam twisted in - it turned out the length of one pattern piece was 1/2" longer than the other. I was matching bottom middle and top notches and then pulling to get them to lie flat - when released this was creating a twist in the leg.
At this point I think I'd rather redraft with the correct figuration than fit these – if I can salvage them from the new pattern then that would be a bonus

Thats what I thought that may have been the issue with your trouser undersides. But I can't see that post
Yep those are duck foot alright.
