I started another pair of half band brace top trousers. This time in a checked cloth. The front pockets are in. The pattern matches horizontally and vertically. The facing of the pocket is sealed in the pocket seam. Back pockets are in. Pattern matching in the welts as wel as inside the pockerts.....
Currently working my way through a pair with this style of waistband following the corpulent draft from Thornton Sectional System. I'm curious how you navigated the canvassing of the waistband at the side-seams. Do you have any photos of the inside showing the arrangement of canvas and stays?

Two weeks ago, I have finished my pair of tousers. This time I made a button fly. Pattern matching side seams and inside leg, too. The legs were ironed in shape befor construction of the trousers. I put the selvedge of the cloth as inforcement in the seams of the legs. For a nice falll of the legs, the seams are lower in the back. Very happy with the result.
