Hey,
I saw in the video series the backtrousers had much more Inlay than the front trousers. When you want to make some alterations in the future, you just can let out the back trousers and not the front trousers..
notmally I would think that this takes a bad influence on the position of the side seam? Am I Right? I normally would think that when you want to let out the trousers on the side, you have to do it hardly equally on the front and brack trousers…
Regards
Paul
Thank you Gerry! That makes sense.. didnt have the pockets in mind...
In most cases it's only the waistline that needs adjusting, typically by amending the CB seam. If you did need to let out the side seams, then yes their positions would look more forward by only letting out the back pieces. Hopefully not by much. It's pragmatic to only let out the back. What would you do about your pockets if you were to let out the fronts by the same amount?
The above refers to a scenario where the trousers were made up but you/a customer put on weight. (hopefully all fitting issues would be resolved before making up the trousers).
