Hi Rory! I watched your Trouser video series n 2021 and have made about 10 pants from it. I love them! My weight fluctuates about five pounds and I’ve noticed it mostly goes to my ****. :) I tend to get a little hole in the seat seam (between where the two pi’s are in the image of the pattern below. I’ve also found that when I made this pattern as shorts they were a little tight around my thighs. Can you tell me the pattern adjustment to fix these two issues. I’m ready to start cutting my next round of garments this week!
I’d love have a little more room in the thighs and avoid the seat seam hole. My instinct is to let out the back side of the leg seam. I’ll let you advise though. Thank you!!! Also please ignore all the different paper I pieced together to make the pattern. Lol
Ok. Just bought your book and going to redraft using 1/6. Hope it works!
In the next gen of the book there's going to be a change in the undersides fork length. I'm changed it from 1/8th scale to 1/6th.
So that will mean 1/6th scale on the topside and the undersides.
A short fork could contribute to your issue.
So would too much inlay, if the hole is forming in the curve.
