Intensive In-house Courses

Between work, home-life, and life in general, sometimes it just isn’t feasible to get away for six weeks to train in the art of tailoring with The Handcraft Tailor Academy.

This is one of the many reasons why The HTA is now offering short, two week intensive courses modelled after our six week terms.

 

Accommodation is always included in all of our courses and you will still be taught one-to-one by Rory himself as well as with the aid of an accompanying video series.

Not a minute will be wasted as you’ll have Monday – Friday with Rory, twelve hour access to the workshop (from 8:00 – 20:00), including the weekend, provided “homework” and a daily plan to ensure goals are met.

As this is labelled as an intensive course, this means that whichever course you choose to pursue:

•  The Ultimate Beginner's Course 

• Pattern Drafting for Bespoke Menswear

• Waistcoat Making, the Savile Row Style

• Bespoke Trouser Making

• Savile Row Coat Making
   

it will be a heavily condensed version of the traditional six-week course. This means that your chosen course will be a great introduction in gaining the bones of the skills you’ll need. With the assistance of one of our online courses, it’s a great second option to attending for the full six weeks.

All courses can also be literally tailored to you upon discussing with Rory ahead of time.
