We at The Handcraft Tailor Academy, want all our students to have an enjoyable educational experience. To provide this, these terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of The Handcraft Tailor Academy's Website, located at www.handcrafttailor.com.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS OF USE, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SITE AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to The Handcraft Tailor Academy’s terms and conditions. "The HTA", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", "the Site", "the Website"  refers to our The Handcraft Tailor Academy/www.handcrafttailor.com. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Ireland. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the Site from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms of Use at any time and for any reason. You and The HTA agree that we may access, store, process, and use any information and personal data that you provide following the terms of the Privacy Policy and your choices (including settings).

 

By submitting suggestions or other feedback regarding The Handcraft Tailor Academy and www.handcrafttailor.com, you agree that we can use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

 

We do not assert any ownership over your Contributions. You retain full ownership of all of your Contributions and any intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights associated with your Contributions. Tuition Fees Policy
The Handcraft Tailor Academy has created this policy in relation to the charging and payments of student fees to ensure that protocols are met and applied in a consistent and correct manner. This is to ensure that prospective and existing students are aware of their obligations and commitments upon registering for a course and committing to a course, whether online or on campus. You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.

By accepting an academic position with The Handcraft Tailor Academy, students are in agreement of being fully liable for any and all payments in regards to, but not limited to, registration, trimming packages and course fees.

​

Prospective students booking a course with The Handcraft Tailor Academy, whether online or in-house, agree that their place on any course is not accepted until a €500.00 deposit from the tuition costs has been paid. All course fees must be paid before the course is set to begin unless an instalment plan has been agreed to between the student and director. Your payment of the price for services supplied by The Handcraft Tailor Academy represents an offer on your part to purchase the goods (i.e. courses), which will be accepted by us upon receiving a course fee deposit.

By accepting an academic position with The Handcraft Tailor Academy, students understand and agree that all fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

​

In the event that a student has registered and paid for a course or courses but cannot attend, a written agreement must be reached for the student to take the course or courses at a later date with compliance from The Handcraft Tailor Academy to make a reasonable effort to accommodate the change of plans to an alternative future date. However, should the student decline the offer of an alternative date and decide to cancel, the course deposit and subsequent payments are non-refundable.

Any in-house students are required to pay for their own accommodation, and necessities.

Additional costs for materials provided by the school may be levied at the school directors discretion.

Online students who wish to finish their training in-house may do so at no extra charge for their training.

In events of a force majeure or vis major, we will hold no liability to you for any failure to deliver services to you or any delay in doing so in the event damage is caused by incident(s) or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to: war, strikes, riots, or any sudden legal changes preventing the fulfilment of obligations, floods, fire, explosions, accidents or any and all incidents deemed as a state of emergency.

The Handcraft Tailor Academy reserves the right to cancel and/or withdraw from teaching a student due to: impossibility of performance, prior agreement, misrepresentation on behalf of at least one person within the agreement and completion of the course or courses.

Class Attendance

Students are expected to be available and present at each class time. If a student cannot make a class for any reason, a postponement should be requested within three hours of the starting time.

Online students who wish to finish their training in-house may do so at no extra charge for their training but additional costs for materials provided by the school may be levied at the school directors discretion.

 

Hyperlinking to our Content

The following organisations may link to our website without prior written approval:

  • Government agencies;

  • Search engines;

  • News organizations;

  • Online directory distributors may link to our website in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Websites of other listed businesses; and

  • System wide Accredited Businesses except soliciting non-profit organizations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups which may not hyperlink to our Web site.

These organisations may link to our home page, to publications or to other website information so long as the link: (a) is not in any way deceptive; (b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement or approval of the linking party and its products and/or services; and (c) fits within the context of the linking party’s site.
